DJ Stout asked me to come down to the lake to photograph his “BatCow” submission to the Austin Cow Parade this weekend. He and the crew from Flat Fork Studios hung the cow from the South Congress Bridge (with the city’s permission) on Sunday afternoon. Sunday night, I borrowed a kayak from one of the outfitters on the lake to grab this shot of the BatCow with his real winged brethren as they flew in to the evening sky.
