One week from today we’ll be loading up the horses and headed out on my yearly pilgrimage to the Tolbert/Fowler Chili Cookoff in Terlingua, Texas. There are few experiences that I can liken it to, so you’ll just have to come out some time. There is almost endless food, endless beverages, and of course a lot of chili related talk. You’ll meet folks from all walks of life who enjoy food, friends, and spending a lot of time in the soul cleansing sand of Terlingua.
